MEETINGS IN 2019 (both ISS-sponsored and not)

 

     

      Conferences and Symposia sponsored or co-sponsored by the International Shaw Society take place at least once a year, and some years there may be two or more events.  In addition, there are often Calls for Papers on Shaw topics at conferences not sponsored by the ISS (MLA, Comparative Drama Conference, Irish Studies, etc.), and the list below includes those as well.  You may be able to go directly to the ISS conference or symposium homepage by clicking on the highlighted title below; for the others, just query or send abstracts to the email address listed:  

 

 

2019 Summer Shaw Symposium

The Shaw Festival

Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario

August 15-16-17, 2019

Featuring two of Shaw’s major plays:  Getting Married and Man and Superman,

seats for which have to be purchased in addition to registering for the Symposium.

Deadline for submitting papers and grant applications is May 1, 2019.

A committee will evaluate them and notify you in May.
