Conferences and Symposia sponsored or
co-sponsored by the International Shaw Society take place at least once a
year, and some years there may be two or more events. In addition, there are often Calls for
Papers on Shaw topics at conferences not sponsored by the ISS (MLA,
Comparative Drama Conference, Irish Studies, etc.), and the list below
includes those as well. You may be
able to go directly to the ISS conference or symposium homepage by clicking

The Shaw Festival Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario Featuring two
of Shaw’s major plays: Getting Married and Man and Superman, seats for which
have to be purchased in addition to registering for the Symposium. To
register for the Symposium ($150; $75 for students) and buy tickets for the
Shaw and other plays, call
the Shaw Festival Box Office at 1-800-511-7429. See www.shawfest.com for the entire 2019
season of plays. Deadline for submitting
papers and grant applications is May 1, 2019. Send abstracts, applications, & queries to Professor
