When Dorothy Hadfield assumes the ISS presidency on January 1, 2025, the Membership Secretary position will become vacant. As per our constitution, the executive can appoint someone to take over the role for the remainder of Dorothy’s original term, which was set to run until December 31, 2027.

The Membership Secretary needs to be able to maintain the membership spreadsheets accurately and carry out other assorted tasks related to recruitment, communication, and community-building. Since all ISS memberships coincide with the calendar year, the Membership Secretary needs to be ready for our peak renewal season beginning January 1. The Membership Secretary is expected to be, and remain, a member in good standing of the organization for the duration of the term.
