ISS Studio Presents

Please join us on June 29 (7pm GMT+1,= 2pm EST= 11 am West Coast of USA)  for an International Shaw Society Zoom meeting with the authors of the four monographs in Palgrave Macmillan’s Bernard Shaw and His Contemporaries series that are scheduled to be published before September. This will be a chance to preview the titles with their authors, who will informally talk about their work and take questions. The titles include:

Bernard Shaw and the British Regional Repertory Movement, by Soudabeh Ananisarab, Birmingham City University (Forthcoming August 2025)

Ireland in the Life and Work of C. S. Lewis, by David Clare, Mary Immaculate College, University of Limerick (Forthcoming August 2025)

Bernard Shaw and St. John Hankin: Happy Endings, by Christopher Wixson, Eastern Illinois University (Forthcoming June 2025)

Bernard Shaw and Noël Coward: Conversation Pieces, by Christopher Wixson, Eastern Illinois University (Forthcoming July 2025)

We hope this will be a reoccurring event in support of the current Shaw series and, most importantly, its authors.

Anyone thinking of submitting a book to the Palgrave Shaw series should try to attend, so they can get an idea of what is involved and know that the ISS will be proactive in its support.

The Zoom link will be available closer to date.
