The Topic: – Steve will be showcasing his new three act play: Three Irish Rovers. We are privileged to be the first ones to engage with the work and give Steve feedback. The play was born from the origins of his recent book From the Troubles to Trumpism: Ireland and America 1960 -2023. The plot is based around three main characters; Brendan Behan, John F. Kennedy and Grant Stockdale and explores their lives during the Kennedy pre-presidential and presidential years and their interactions and influences. The session will open with Steve introducing the work and the premise and will be followed by two short readings from the play. The purpose is to discuss these sections of the work and perhaps even pass on some friendly feedback.
Steve has said that anyone who wants a copy of the script beforehand is welcome and, if you do, just pop me an email and I will send it to you.
